About me

My name is Trudy Harper and I'm currently living my best life with my husband and fur family just outside Llandeilo in Wales.

I started my creative career as a Graphic Designer for a small advertising agency before moving on to an Artworker role for an agency in London. Whilst the experience of city life was exciting for a while, it just wasn't for me. I love being outside, enjoying the scenery, and getting my daily steps in. Becoming a Postie gave me just that. I just missed being creative. In 2016 I started Ab Fab Chic, A shabby chic furniture restoration business. This didn't develop and I found people were more interested in my animal portraits than my furniture restoration skills. Ab Fab Art was born.

Since the Covid lockdowns, I've wanted to develop my creativity further. I like to create emotion within my art. Be it through the subject on the canvas or the viewer's interpretation. Sometimes it simply reflects my feelings or those around me, other times it's all about the beauty surrounding us.

I don't know what the future has in store for me. What I do know is there will definitly be creativity.

Hobbies: Arts & crafts, hiking/walking, movies, reading, dancing and fun days out sight seeing.

My motto: Do what you love!
